a more web browser like interface please

I know I have already requested this in email, but thought I'd request it here, so all can see the new features being requested. It's a good start, but we need just a few more things to make it great.

A more web browser link interface. Meaning a Back and Forward button. Also support for a link with the "target=" option in the "a href" tag. Currently it appears that links with target= are ignored.

Thanks.

Feature request entered

I sincerely hope that our HTML viewer will have support for Forward/Back navigation in the next release. This has been added to our internal system as a feature request. Since we're using the system web viewer, our only hope with the targeted links is that they'll become supported as time goes on.

I'll run some tests this week to see how framesets display in the viewer–hoping those will work. I can completely understand if links with a target of _blank don't work, since there's no support in the system viewer to handle multiple open "windows" though.

Forward/Back Working and Ready For 1.2

Just to follow up, we got the html viewers forward/back/stop/refresh buttons working! This feature will be in the 1.2 update which will be due out a few weeks after the 1.1 update coming out in a week.

In fact, as soon as the 1.1 update goes live, I'll package up the 1.2 update so it will be ready as soon as possible.

On a side note, I understand why Apple has a review process before apps are allowed to go live on iTunes, but just wish it wouldn't take two weeks in between updates. I'd push fixes and features out as fast as we're able if we could.
