We'll be looking into this
We're looking into providing a custom PDF viewer instead of using the system component in order to provide features like this. It's not going to be ready in the next update however.
We're still in the initial stages of design/development so it's too early to predict when this may be available.
What additional screenshots would you like to see? Something in particular?
