Very Dissapointed!!!

I've been waiting for an app like this and really liked the sound of TouchFS.

With the amount of ridiculously over priced rubbish on the AppStore i was cautious of buying this.
But in the end bought it because if it worked like it said it did i would be really helpfull and worth the money.......but of course it dosent work like it say's it does!

I've tried to upload a big PDF five times now and it's failed everytime and twice crashed the iPod.

Also by the description of this App i thought you would be able to do a lot more with files, for example emport/export from photo libary, what's the point of importing Jpeg's to TouchFS when you cannot do anything with them, not even zoom in!!!

I wanted, and by the description thought it was, an App to move files to and from the iPod, not move files to and from TouchFs that has nothing to offer once there!

If future updates improve this App then it will be a really helpfull App and the price will be justified,
but at the moment this app is completly useless to me, and to release it in this state, and for the price it is,
is digracefull!

Sorry you're disappointed, but we're here to help

I'm sorry you're disappointed. TouchFS allows you to store your own files on your iPhone or iPod--just like you've been able to do with any previous iPod. With TouchFS, your iPhone acts like a thumb drive. Of course, unlike a thumb drive, you have the ability to view certain types of files as well. TouchFS is never going to be an iPhone "file manager", as you can manipulate your files once connected to your computer. We will be adding the ability to delete files directly on your iPhone, but as for moving, copying, editing, etc...there are no plans for that.

Also, there is no way for third party applications to access "any" file on your iPhone. We have access to your photo library, sure, but are unable to access much else...that's why your files are stored "in TouchFS" as you call it...that's all we can do presently, by Apple's design.

We discussed importing files from your photo library, but then thought, why would users want to store photos twice on their iPhones--once in the photo library, and the once in TouchFS? We also thought we'd be expected to duplicate the existing features of the Photo app. We have been getting feedback requesting this import feature though and plan on offering this in an upcoming update. This way, you'll have another way to get your photos off your iPhone, beside just emailing them from the standard Photo app.

Also, we're aware a lot of people are missing the pinch/zoom gesture on photos. That will be coming out too.

As for your immediate issue, PDFs are definitely supported, as long as they're not password protected. I've viewed 50MB PDFs before w/o a problem. I'd be happy to try your files out if you'd send them to our support email address.

Please give us some more info about how you're connecting...Operating System, method of connecting (built-in or third party WebDAV client), etc...

If you're trying to upload via a web browser, know that that feature is not working in the current version which is why we've never advertised web browser access. It will be available in our next update due out in a few weeks.
