What is the difference between the old iphone and the iphone 3g?

Yesterday night I plugged my iphone in to charge. I must have pressed clocks when I put it in as this morning when I woke up, 8 hours later, and unlocked the phone clocks was the first thing to show up on screen. Does that mean that the internet was connected all night or does it disconnect when it locks?

The body of your message has nothing to do w/the post title, and I don't appreciate the "unlock iphone" links in your apparent signature.


Yes, when the display is locked, of course the last app running will appear when you unlock it.  As long as it remains powered up, this will happen.  Depending on your email settings, even when the display is in standby, the phone may check for new mail.


Of course, you could find all this out on Apple's site and forums.  Exactly what are you looking for here?  Oh, and, yes, I removed the links from your post.
